DISH Network Expands On-Demand Programming Provides HBO & Cinemax Titles Not Available from Netflix Streaming Service

DISH Network On Demand ProgrammingDISH Network will now offer customers online access to programming that is not offered via Netflix’s online service. DISH customers who subscribe to HBO or Cinemax will be given unlimited access to HBO GO and MAX GO, the new video websites from Home Box Office. From these sites or from DISH Network’s own online video destination,, customers can enjoy nearly all of the programming from these premium channels, most of it in HD. Customers can choose from more than 1,800 titles including favorites like “Up in the Air,” “Avatar,” and “Braveheart.” Award-winning shows like “True Blood” and “Boardwalk Empire,” cult favorites and independent films are also available.

Senior vice president of DISH Programming Dave Shull explains: “DISH Network customers with an HBO or Cinemax subscription can also get new series titles after their premiere — plus bonus content including interviews, recaps and behind-the-scenes extras — none of which are available through Netflix’s online service.”

The DISH Network on demand new online service is convenient, too; DISH customers who subscribe to Cinemax or HBO can watch movies and shows anywhere in the U.S. by logging in to, or with a broadband connection.

Last fall DISH introduced as the first (and only) online video portal to integrate live TV. The website features more than 150,000 shows, clips, movies and trailers and is available to both DISH customers and those without DISH subscriptions. Call to get DISH on demand today!
