Season 3 Green Lit by HBO

news as HBO announced approval for a third season just last week. Based on the book series, A Song of Fire & Ice from author George R. R. Martin fans of the show are already hoping for a long run for this fantasy epic. Season Two Premiere Garners 8.7 million viewers
Season two of Game of Thrones has fans following the battle for the Iron Throne of Westeros after King Robert’s death in season one. Robb Stark (Richard Madden) of the North looks to avenge his father’s death at the hands of sitting King Joffrey of House Baratheon (Jack Gleeson). Tyrion Lannister (Emmy Award Winner Peter Dinklage) has been inserted as the new Hand of the King and tensions mount as he and his sister, Cersie, Queen Dowager of the Seven Kingdoms (Lena Headey), clash over how to best rule the kingdom while staving off the imminent attacks from Lords of the North.
