DISH has announced that it’s taking the personalized radio service, Pandora, and bringing it right into your home via the Hopper DVR Whole-Home Entertainment system. DISH customers can now search and access your favorite Pandora music no matter where you are in your home. If you’re not familiar with Pandora, you must check it out! You can actually create your own radio station by choosing the artist, song or genre you want to hear. Whether you love Billy Joel, Van Morrison, Black Sabbath, The Carpenters, Madonna, Pink, Maroon 5 or Lady Gaga, Pandora will match the musical characteristics to bring you a station that only plays music to match your taste.

Simply access your app, create or select your station and turn up the volume! Use the Pandora App on the Hopper to set the mood at your next party, keep you going when you’re cleaning, or add ambiance to your dinner.  And since DISH has other great apps like the Facebook app, you can change your status to “Rocking out to Pandora at home with DISH” – all from your TV!

DISH customers will be able to create a new Pandora account or log in with their existing one to stream music through their television via an Internet connection.
